Pioneer Balloon Company
The Pioneer Balloon project helped employees of Barton International Group expand their horizons and learn new skills and techniques to take with them into the workforce. Employees traveled to Dallas and Houston, Texas, Chicago, Ill. and Los Angeles, Cali. to perform market research on the Hispanic market. Additionally, employees traveled to the World Balloon Convention, hosted by Pioneer Balloon, to conduct surveys at the convention.
Adapting to the culture and learning how to communicate with non-English speakers was crucial to the success of the project. Employees also learned how to conduct intensive market research on a target market. Responsible for writing, conducting, and coding hundreds of surveys, employees were able to peform field work from beginning to end. With this collected data, and through the use PivotTables, employees analyzed the data and drew conclusions about the target market.
Team members from the project were selected to present the findings and recommendations to the executives at Pioneer Balloon Company. Due to employee’s impressive results and professionalism, BIG has been offered several follow-up projects with Pioneer Balloon Company.
