MoJack

BIG was contracted by MoJack to assess the viability of a new product.  BIG employees performed market research, analyzed the results and proposed a recommendation regarding entry into a new market. This was the first feasibility study BIG performed, and was an important learning experience.

Employees on the project gathered data to estimate the size of the market. By looking at factors such as the price per unit and how many units sold per store. The data allowed estimations of units sold per year, ultimately leading to the size of the market. Based on this research, BIG recommended MoJack not to enter the market, as the market for the product was too small to make a profit.

Employees gained valuable knowledge in analytics to assess a market, and to project the feasibility of a new product.

These skills are essential in consulting and in the classroom. This project gave employees of BIG experience that helps them excel in the classroom and in their careers. Being able to analyze and see a solution is critical problem solving for a company.  Employees with analytical experience are able to add value to companies they work for and to BIG.

This project was important for experience and an invaluable client. Although the MoJack project was local, the project funded international studies for BIG. This project was a stepping stone for BIG in the local client market.
